How to be a waitress without experience?

How to get a waitress job without any experience? Here we will give you some tips through a Q&A case study.

Question:

A lot of my friends have worked as waitresses, and obviously you have to start somewhere to be an experienced waitress.

I don’t have that much work experience (as a nanny), so I’m not sure how to prepare for it. Any tips from waitresses out there?

Also, I’m not really pretty, so I don’t know how that figures into everything.
